iROCK Gets a Double Page in FAB Magazine Sound Issue

Another iROCK coverage came this summer in the shape of a whopping double page feature in FAB Magazine.

FAB Magazine, the official partner for iROCK Tribes of Africa launch on 26 May 2012 at The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel highlighted the event in its events section with images from the red carpet, runway and the entertainment on the night provided by Spirit of Africa Masai dancers, poet Dumi Senda and iROCK mentees.

The UK-based social enterprise aiming to support the young people of ethnic descent with employability skills and employment opportunities is getting ready to kick-start their monthly Sister2Sister workshops with their debut on 27 October celebrating Black History month titled ‘Do Black Girls Have it Harder?’ discussing challenges faced by ethnic minority women from self esteem issues, integration, skin and beauty, business and career opportunities. This workshop has been dedicated to motivate, elevate, honour and celebrate the ‘everyday black woman’. One to mark in calendars!
